Pooled Funds
The common funds administered by Texas Presbyterian Foundation are:
TPF Large Cap Equity Fund
The Large Cap Equity Fund is a broadly diversified portfolio of mostly U.S. and some international stocks that seeks to provide opportunities for long-term capital growth, while avoiding speculation and undue risk.
TPF Growth Equity Fund
The Growth Equity Fund is a concentrated portfolio, managed by two outside professional advisory firms with distinct approaches to large-cap growth equity investing. INTECH uses a mathematically based risk control process selecting large cap growth stocks to generate an excess return and Sands Capital Management employs a somewhat traditional “bottom-up” stock picker style of investing focusing on the firm’s best ideas among quality large cap growth equity businesses.
TPF Value Equity Fund
The Value Equity Fund is a concentrated portfolio managed by two outside professional advisory firms with distinct approaches to large-cap value equity investing. Eagle Capital Management employs a large-cap “intrinsic” value strategy, and LSV Asset Management employs a disciplined, quantitative, ‘contrarian’ approach.
TPF Small Cap Equity Fund
The Small Cap Equity Fund is a blended-style portfolio of small U.S. companies allocated among managers with distinct growth, value and core strategies.
TPF International Equity Fund
The International Equity Fund is a broadly diversified portfolio of large, high quality non-U.S. companies that are either ordinary shares traded on securities exchanges around the world or American Depository Receipts (ADRs) traded on U.S. exchanges.
TPF Emerging Markets Equity Fund
The Emerging Markets Equity Fund is a broadly diversified portfolio of smaller companies in markets with greater political and economic instability, presenting more exposure to operational and liquidity risks than in developed countries, and with currency risks that are not easily hedged.
TPF Fixed Income Fund
The Fixed Income Fund is an actively managed diversified bond portfolio with a total return strategy, designed to serve as the fixed income component for most permanent funds.
TPF Money Market Fund
The Money Market Fund seeks a competitive rate of current income with maximum safety and liquidity.
TPF Alternative Strategies Fund
The Alternative Strategies Fund is a diversified fund-of-funds using investment strategies designed to provide consistent, high “risk-adjusted” returns (equity-like returns with bond-like risk).
TPF Defensive Strategies Fund
The Defensive Strategies Fund is a broadly diversified portfolio of primarily institutional-class mutual funds employing a variety of alternative investment strategies, including merger arbitrage, put and call options, and long/short equity.
TPF Real Estate Fund
The Real Estate Fund is a diversified commingled portfolio of core institutional-quality, income-producing U.S. real estate properties.
TPF Real Assets Fund
